The nerves (see below) have passed on now we're (mentally) on to the point where we can actually stop, breath, and embrace our team. We can step back and look, in the eye even, the players that we've embraced and put our trust in so deeply. As they say in French ...
alors, et voila.

I don't think there was a worst good day in my life. I hate penalties, they make my heart stop and brain hurt. They only end in pain for someone because knowing that maybe there was a chance to win it and lose out on the most fickle aspect of the game. Penalties are the football gods way of karmic retribution for 8-0 romps. I am glad Arsenal walked away the winners because I may have battered someone's face because he was getting on my case for no reason other than he liked the Man Yoo. Mindless mob mentality. It will always take 12 of you to equal one of me.

Phew. My God, that was agonizing. I hate, hate, hate penalties. And if there's anything worse than watching your side compete in penalties, it's doing so while watching a grainy, intermittenly-buffering internet feed of the proceedings. And to start with Eduardo's miss...that immediate sinking feeling. And then Theo's ball just creeping into the corner. I had a terrible feeling when Diaby stepped up, but he put it away. It wasn't spectacular, but it's all about survival. Onward and upward!
Who do we want in the Quarters? Personally, I don't like facing English teams in the CL if it can be avoided. Of course you don't want Barca. Bayern was a locomotive in the round of 16. Guess that leaves Villareal or Porto again?
et voila?
you sure it's not "walla". i'm pretty sure it is...
